Thiessen, Penguins push Bruins to limit

Brad Thiessen made 46 saves and Trevor Smith tucked home a loose puck with 3:26 gone in overtime as Wilkes-Barre/Scranton closed in on AHL history with a 2-1 win over the Providence Bruins on Monday night.

Krug stepping up big-time

With half their defensive corps suddenly injured heading into their second-round playoff series, the Boston Bruins looked to Providence and turned to Torey Krug. And sure enough, Krug is producing a pretty sweet story line.

Marlies send series back to Toronto

The defending Western Conference champions aren't ready to relinquish their crown yet. The Toronto Marlies put forward a season-saving effort on Saturday, defeating the Grand Rapids Griffins, 4-1, to close their series gap to 3-2.
