AHL announces suspension

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced that Binghamton Senators center Cody Bass has been suspended for six (6) games as a result of his actions in a game at Hershey on Jan. 2.

Bass was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 70.10 for leaving the players’ bench for the purpose of starting an altercation.

Bass will miss Binghamton’s games on Friday (Jan. 8) vs. Portland; Saturday (Jan. 9) vs. Lowell; Sunday (Jan. 10) at Rochester; Jan. 15 vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton; Jan. 16 vs. Springfield and Jan. 22 vs. Adirondack.
