SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced that Portland Pirates right wing Mike Hoffman has been suspended for one (1) game as a result of his actions during an AHL playoff game at Hartford on Apr. 17.
Hoffman was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 29.1 (supplementary discipline).
Hoffman will miss Game 3 of the Atlantic Division semifinal series between Portland and Hartford on Saturday (Apr. 19).
