AHL announces suspension

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced that Syracuse Crunch left wing Tom Sestito and Toronto Marlies defenseman Jay Harrison have each been suspended for three (3) games as a result of their altercation prior to an AHL game between the teams in Syracuse on Feb. 29.

 
In addition, both the Crunch and Marlies have been fined an undisclosed amount.
 
Sestito will miss Syracuse’s games on Friday (Mar. 7) vs. Toronto, Saturday (Mar. 8) vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Sunday (Mar. 9) at Toronto.
 
Harrison will miss Toronto’s games on Wednesday (Mar. 5) at Grand Rapids, Friday (Mar. 7) at Syracuse and Saturday (Mar. 8) vs. Manitoba.
