AHL announces suspension

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced that Peoria Rivermen right wing Cody Beach has been suspended for two (2) games as a consequence of an illegal check to the head of an opponent a game at Charlotte on Nov. 8.
Beach will miss Peoria’s game tonight (Nov. 9) at Charlotte and Saturday (Nov. 10) vs. Grand Rapids.
