AHL announces suspensions

The American Hockey League announced today that Chicago Wolves left wing Kip Brennan has been suspended for fifteen (15) regular-season games and Manitoba Moose left wing Jason Lehoux has been suspended for four (4) regular-season games as a result of their actions prior to an AHL game between the teams on March 13, 2005, in Rosemont, Ill.

Both the Chicago Wolves and Manitoba Moose have also been fined an undisclosed amount.

Brennan will begin serving his suspension tonight vs. Edmonton. He will be eligible to return at the start of the 2005 Calder Cup Playoffs.

Lehoux will begin serving his suspension on Thursday (Mar. 17) at Milwaukee. He will be eligible to return on Mar. 26 vs. St. John’s.
