AHL announces suspensions

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced that Bridgeport Sound Tigers left wing Kip Brennan has been suspended for two (2) games as a result of his actions during an AHL game at Worcester on Mar. 21.

Brennan received an automatic two-game suspension under AHL Rule 23.3 for accumulating four game misconducts in the general category this season.

Brennan will miss Bridgeport’s games Wednesday (Mar. 26) at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Friday (Mar. 28) vs. Hershey.

The AHL also announced that Lake Erie Monsters right wing Brad Richardson has been suspended pending league review of his match penalty received during an AHL game at Peoria on Mar. 21.
