AHL announces suspensions

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced the following suspensions:

Cleveland Monsters forward Brett Gallant has been suspended for four (4) games as a consequence of an illegal check to the head of an opponent in a game vs. Manitoba on Feb. 12.

Gallant will miss Cleveland’s games Wednesday (Feb. 15) and Friday (Feb. 17) at Rockford, and Sunday (Feb. 19) and Monday (Feb. 20) at Iowa.

Chicago Wolves forward Andrew Agozzino has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of an illegal check to the head of an opponent in a game vs. San Antonio on Feb. 12.

Agozzino will miss Chicago’s game Friday (Feb. 17) at Texas.
