AHL announces suspensions

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced the following suspensions:

Charlotte Checkers defenseman Josiah Didier has been suspended for three (3) games as a consequence of an interference incident in a game vs. Binghamton on Mar. 18.

Didier was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline). He will miss Charlotte’s games Friday (Mar. 23) at Laval, Saturday (Mar. 24) at Laval and Mar. 30 at Rochester.

Charlotte Checkers forward Warren Foegele has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of a boarding incident in a game vs. Binghamton on Mar. 17.

Foegele was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline). He will miss Charlotte’s game Friday (Mar. 23) at Laval.

Hershey Bears forward Chris Bourque has been suspended for three (3) games as a consequence of a boarding incident in a game vs. Springfield on Mar. 17.

Bourque was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline). He will miss Hershey’s games Saturday (Mar. 24) at Hartford, Sunday (Mar. 25) vs. Hartford and Mar. 28 at Bridgeport.

Lehigh Valley Phantoms forward Nicolas Aube-Kubel has been suspended for two (2) games as a consequence of an illegal check to the head of an opponent in a game vs. Providence on Mar. 17.

Aube-Kubel was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline). He will miss Lehigh Valley’s games Friday (Mar. 23) and Saturday (Mar. 24) at Providence.
