AHL announces suspensions

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced the following suspensions:

Laval Rocket defenseman Matt Petgrave has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of a slew-footing incident in a game at Toronto on Mar. 28.

Petgrave was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 21.1 after being assessed a match penalty. He will miss Laval’s game tonight (Mar. 30) at Binghamton.

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins defenseman Andrey Pedan has been suspended for two (2) games as a consequence of an interference incident in a game vs. Providence on Mar. 28.

Pedan was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline). He will miss Wilkes-Barre/Scranton’s games tonight (Mar. 30) at Hartford and Saturday (Mar. 31) vs. Providence.
