“To be able to give hockey fans around the world the ability to watch high quality video of live AHL action – whether it’s on a desktop, a laptop, a smartphone or a tablet – is a tremendous opportunity for us,” said David Andrews, President and Chief Executive Officer of the American Hockey League. “We’re excited to continue our partnership with NeuLion, and to bring the excitement of our league to our fans wherever they are.”
With the new AHL Live, fans of the league will now experience the AHL like never before. Fans can find all of their favorite team’s games with the new and improved AHL Game Schedule page that can be sorted by month, week, day and time. A Highlights and Shows page offers fans the best league-wide plays in one convenient location with other recommended on-demand videos, and provides news not found anywhere else with shows like AHL Weekly.
“We are excited to expand our partnership with the AHL and power AHL Live with a better, more intuitive website and multi-platform delivery,” said Nancy Li, Chief Executive Officer of NeuLion. “We are always looking to improve what our partners can do for their fans, and being able to offer the AHL’s dedicated fans a more innovative experience anywhere is something we are proud to be a part of.”
