Worcester is the only team remaining in the AHL without a regulation loss this season (4-0-0-2), but St. John’s is in first place in the Atlantic Division (5-2-3-0) heading into their meeting at the DCU Center tonight… The IceCaps began their six-game New England road trip with 4-3 overtime losses in both Springfield and Providence over the weekend… Defenseman Paul Postma, an AHL All-Star in 2011, is on a four-game scoring streak and has taken over the St. John’s team scoring lead for the season (2-6-8)… Sharks rookie Mike Connolly (5-5-10) leads the club in goals, assists, points and plus/minus (+7), and has a point in five straight games.

With reigning Reebok/AHL Player of the Week Krys Kolanos providing a power boost, Abbotsford wraps up a four-game road trip in Hamilton tonight… Kolanos, who had missed more than 21 months due to injury, returned to action last weekend and recorded seven points in two games, including a three-point effort in Sunday’s 6-2 win over the Bulldogs… Abbotsford had scored 12 goals in its first seven games without Kolanos before netting 11 goals in two games with him… Ben Walter had back-to-back three-point games over the weekend (1-5-6), and Dustin Sylvester scored twice in Sunday’s win at Copps… Hamilton has alternated back-to-back wins with back-to-back losses through its first eight games (4-4-0-0)… Andreas Engqvist (2-2-4) has four points in three games since joining the Bulldogs after starting the season with Montreal.
