LOOKING AHEAD:
Rochester, which took a pair of home-ice wins over Adirondack last month, heads to Glens Falls on Wednesday for its first visit to the Civic Center since the 1999 postseason… Amerks rookie goaltender Alexander Salak has stopped 61 of 63 shots (.968) vs. the Phantoms this year and ranks second in the league with 23 wins overall (23-8-0, 2.63, .920)… Graham Mink has notched three goals in his last two games for the Americans, and defenseman Clay Wilson shows 2-5-7 in his last seven outings… Adirondack is coming off a 5-0 loss at Syracuse on Saturday… 2010 AHL All-Star Jon Matsumoto continues to lead the Phantoms with 41 points (19-22-41) in 50 games… The Phantoms’ offense ranks 29th in the league at 2.32 goals per game; Rochester is fifth with 3.20 goals per contest.

Albany heads to Binghamton on Wednesday to take on the Senators in an East Division battle… The Senators have won all three prior meetings with the River Rats this season… Josh Hennessy has recorded 5-2-7 in his last seven games for Binghamton after going without a point in his previous nine… Ryan Keller, who leads the B-Sens in goals (22) and points (43), has found the scoresheet in 10 of his last 11 games (9-7-16) and shows 3-3-6 in three tilts with Albany this year… Erik Condra is riding a three-game scoring run (1-3-4) for the Senators… Albany snapped a three-game losing skid with a 7-6 overtime triumph over Springfield on Saturday… Jacob Micflikier (3-2-5) and defenseman Jamie McBain (1-5-6) both have points in three straight games for the River Rats, and Jiri Tlusty shows a point in both games (1-1-2) since returning from an NHL stint with Carolina… Starting tonight, Binghamton will play a league-high 33 games over the final 61 days of the regular season.

Lake Erie continues a five-game homestand on Wednesday when Milwaukee visits the Quicken Loans Arena… The Monsters, two points out of a playoff spot in the North Division, are looking to put together back-to-back wins for the first time since a four-game run from Jan. 9-15… Monsters leading scorer Darren Haydar (18-25-43) was recalled by parent-club Colorado on Tuesday… T.J. Hensick shows 40 points (12-28-40) in 31 games since being assigned by the Avalanche in late November… Matthew Ford has notched a goal in eight of his last 11 games (9-3-12) for Lake Erie… The Admirals, 11-5-0-0 in their last 16, are part of a West Division logjam that features the top four teams seperated by just one point… Mike Santorelli (18-13-31) is on a three-game scoring run (3-1-4) for the Admirals, while defenseman Jonathon Blum has an assist in four straight.

Just four points back of Norfolk for the East Division’s final guaranteed playoff spot, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton heads south to battle the Admirals on Wednesday… Nick Johnson is on a four-game scoring streak (2-4-6) for the Penguins, and Chris Conner has racked up 14 points (7-7-14) in his last nine contests… Luca Caputi’s seven-game scoring streak (5-6-11) came to an end on Sunday in a 5-4 loss at Hershey… The Admirals are 7-1-1-1 since the All-Star break… Justin Keller shows five points (3-2-5) in his last five games for Norfolk after totaling nine points (6-3-9) in his first 42 outings… Admirals forwards Ryan Craig (14-11-25) and Mark Parrish (12-13-25) are tied for the active team lead with 25 points apiece… Norfolk, which is 3-1-0-0 vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this season, boasts the AHL’s fourth-ranked penalty-killing unit at 86.8 percent.
