Albany jersey auction raises over 34K

ALBANY, N.Y. – The Albany River Rats announced their jersey auction following Sunday’s 5-2 win over the Syracuse Crunch raised $16,565 for Ronald McDonald House Charities. The River Rats, for the first time in the 14-year history of the franchise, wore specially designed jerseys during the game.  The two highest winning bids in the auction, presented by MVP Heath Care, went for the jerseys worn by goaltender Tyler Weiman ($1,100) and center Keith Aucoin ($1,000).
