Ryan Miller made 29 saves and Domenic Pittis set up two of Rochester’s four goals as the Amerks took a 4-1 decision from Milwaukee in Game 2 of the Western Conference final on Thursday night.
The series is even at one game apiece with the Amerks hosting the next three contests, beginning Saturday night in Buffalo.
Norm Milley, Jason Botterill, Derek Roy and Chris Thorburn scored for Rochester. Botterill’s power play goal midway through the first period snapped a 1-1 tie and held up as the game-winner.
Wade Flaherty stopped 34 shots in the loss.
