SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League announced today that Rochester Americans left wing Dylan Hunter has been named the Rbk/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending November 5, 2007. Hunter recorded two goals and five assists for seven points in three games to help the Americans to three consecutive victories.

On Nov. 1, Hunter assisted on the game-winning goal as the Americans defeated Grand Rapids, 3-1, in the front end of a home-and-home set. The next night back in Rochester, Hunter combined his first career two-goal game with his first career three-assist game to register five points in a 5-3 win over the Griffins. Finally, on Nov. 3, Hunter completed a busy 48-hour stretch with another assist as Rochester defeated Hamilton, 3-0.

In recognition of his achievement, Hunter will be presented with an etched crystal award prior to an upcoming Americans home game.
