B-Sens, Bulldogs to play in Ottawa

Scotiabank Place, in conjunction with the Binghamton Senators, announced today that the building will play host to a regular-season game between Ottawa’s American Hockey League affiliate and the Hamilton Bulldogs (the Montreal Canadiens’ AHL affiliate) for the third consecutive season on Sunday, Nov. 13, at 1 p.m.

"This event is very quickly becoming a tradition that we look forward to hosting yearly for the benefit of both the organization’s prospects and our fans in Ottawa," said Tim Murray, assistant general manager of the Senators and general manager of the B-Sens. "This game represents an opportunity for high-level American Hockey League players to showcase their skill set in an NHL venue, many of whom will be doing so for the first time."

Ottawa fans will get an opportunity to see the Senators’ top prospects in action in a game that will feature the return of Binghamton head coach Kurt Kleinendorst and his assistant Steve Stirling, who helped the B-Sens capture their first Calder Cup in franchise history last June.

As part of this year’s event, all Ottawa Senators full-, half- and flex-40 season-seat holders will receive tickets to the AHL game as part of their season-ticket packages.

Tickets prices are $19 and $12 (prices include all taxes, but exclude CRF fee and convenience charges). Tickets go on sale on Thursday, Sept. 15, at 10 a.m. and can be obtained by visiting www.CapitalTickets.ca, by phone at 613-599-FANS (3267) or 1-877-788-FANS (3267); in person at The Sens Store at Carlingwood Mall and Place d’Orleans, any Ottawa Sports Experts location, Les Galeries de Hull and at the Scotiabank Place box office.
