Berube, Bachman added to All-Star rosters

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League announced today that Manchester Monarchs goaltender Jean-Francois Berube has been added to the Eastern Conference roster and Oklahoma City Barons goaltender Richard Bachman has been added to the Western Conference roster for the 2015 AHL All-Star Classic presented by Turning Stone Resort Casino, set for this Sunday and Monday in Utica, N.Y. 

In addition, the AHL announced that Adirondack goaltender Joni Ortio and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton goaltender Jeff Zatkoff will not be available for the event. 

Berube (19-4-3) currently leads the AHL in wins and ranks fifth with a 2.05 goals-against average in 27 appearances for the conference-leading Monarchs. He owns a .920 save percentage and ranks third in the league in minutes played. Bachman has a 12-3-3 record, a 2.19 GAA and a .926 save percentage in 19 games for the Barons, who currently sit first in the overall league standings.

Hendy, Bronco Horvath and Art Stratton as the AHL Hall of Fame Class of 2015 and will also celebrate honorary All-Star Classic captains Bill Guerin and Eric Weinrich.
