Binghamton signs Conner to AHL pact

The Binghamton Devils announced that the club has signed forward Chris Conner to a one-year American Hockey League contract.

Conner enters his 14th professional season in 2019-20 after spending the last four years with the AHL’s Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Last season, he skated in a career-high 72 games and recorded 16 goals and 35 assists for 51 points, his sixth career 50-point campaign.

In 678 career AHL contests with Lehigh Valley, Hershey, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Portland, Grand Rapids, Peoria and Iowa, Conner has totaled 197 goals and 332 assists for 529 points. He has also skated in 52 playoff games in the AHL, notching 13 goals and 21 assists for 34 points.

A native of Westland, Mich., Conner has picked up 22 goals and 28 assists for 50 points in 180 NHL games with Washington, Pittsburgh, Phoenix, Detroit and Dallas.
