The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have agreed to terms with forwards Dylan Sikura and John Quenneville.
Sikura, 24, recorded 17 goals and 18 assists for 35 points in 46 games with the AHL’s Rockford IceHogs as a rookie in 2018-19, finishing second on the team in scoring. He also tallied eight assists in 33 NHL games with the Blackhawks.
A sixth-round choice by Chicago in the 2014 NHL Draft, Sikura was a Hobey Baker Award finalist after his senior season at Northeastern University in 2017-18.
Quenneville, 23, was acquired by the Blackhawks on June 22 in a trade with New Jersey. He recorded 18 goals and 21 assists for 39 points in 37 games with the AHL’s Binghamton Devils in 2018-19 and played in his first AHL All-Star Classic.
In 138 AHL games over his three pro seasons, Quenneville has totaled 46 goals and 73 assists for 119 points.
A first-round choice (30th overall) in the 2014 NHL Draft, Quenneville also tallied one goal in 19 NHL games with New Jersey in 2018-19. He has amassed two goals and three assists in 33 career NHL games, all with the Devils.
