The St. Louis Blues announced that the club has acquired forward Nikita Soshnikov from the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for the Blues’ fourth-round draft pick in 2019.
Soshnikov, 24, has posted seven goals and 10 assists for 17 points in 19 AHL games with the Toronto Marlies this season, and has also appeared in three NHL games with the Maple Leafs.
In 77 career AHL contests, Soshnikov has totaled 26 goals and 22 assists for 48 points with a plus-40 rating. He has seven goals and seven assists for 14 points in 70 career games in the NHL.
