Before turning pro, Callahan spent three seasons at Yale University, recording 44 points (11g, 33a) with 96 PIM. He was originally drafted by Phoenix in the third round (70th overall) of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.

Segal, 24, set a career high with 20 goals and added nine assists for 29 points in 77 games for Milwaukee (AHL) in 2006-07. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound forward has appeared in 259 career AHL games, all with the Admirals, recording 56 goals and 42 assists for 98 points. He won a Calder Cup with Milwaukee in 2004 and returned to the Finals with the club in 2006.

Anaheim originally acquired Segal from Nashville in exchange for future considerations on June 26, 2007. He was a fourth-round draft pick by the Predators in 2002.
