Cornet, 23, has 46 goals and 48 assists for 94 points in 177 career AHL games with Oklahoma City and San Antonio. In 2011-12, he led the Barons with 24 goals and posted a career-high 37 points, earning a spot in the 2012 AHL All-Star Classic.
This season, Cornet has recorded one assist in four AHL games with the Rampage. He has also appeared in three games with Cincinnati (ECHL).
The native of Val-Senneville, Que., was originally drafted by Edmonton in the fifth round (133rd overall) of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. He has skated in two NHL games with the Oilers, picking up one assist.
Brace, 25, will report to the Rampage’s ECHL affiliate in Cincinnati. The rookie has recorded two goals and four assists in 10 games with Charlotte this season.
A native of Cobden, Ont., Brace played collegiately at Canisius College (2008-09) and Robert Morris University (2010-13).
