Chicago pulls off 6-5 OT win over Iowa

(chicagowolves.com) – Left wing Yannick Veilleux rifled a wrist shot top-shelf 2:31 into overtime to lift the Chicago Wolves to a 6-5 exhibition victory Friday night at Triphahn Ice Arena in Hoffman Estates.

 
Right wing Ty Rattie’s goal with 1:41 remaining in regulation — his third of the night — sent the game into extra time. Forward Shane Harper added a pair of third-period goals for the Wolves while defenseman Nicholas Rioux and forward Terry Broadhurst handed out three assists apiece.
 
Wolves goaltender Jordan Binnington rejected 28 of 33 shots as he played 62-plus minutes. Iowa’s Johan Gustafsson posted 20 saves on 26 shots.
