Chiodo to chat live Friday afternoon

Goaltender Andy Chiodo of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins will enter the AHL chat room and answer questions live this Friday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. ET.

Chiodo, 21, just finished leading the Penguins back from a 3-1 series deficit to eliminate the Bridgeport Sound Tigers in the East Division semifinals. The Pens are now awaiting the winner of the Philadelphia-Norfolk series.

A native of Toronto, Chiodo is in his rookie season with Wilkes-Barre. He went 3-4-1 in eight NHL appearances with Pittsburgh in 2003-04, and was 18-19-2 in 44 appearances for the AHL Pens.

He made his postseason debut in Game 5 against the Sound Tigers and proceeded to stop 73 of 76 shots, winning two overtime contests and posting a shutout in Game 6.
