The Utica Comets announced Monday that the club has signed forward Pascal Pelletier to a professional tryout contract.

In 426 career AHL games with Utica, Syracuse, Peoria, Rockford and Providence, Pelletier has totaled 139 goals and 206 assists for 345 points. He was a First Team AHL All-Star in 2007-08, when he set career bests with 37 goals, 75 points and a plus-20 rating in 73 games with Providence.

The native of Labrador City, N.L., has also appeared in 16 National Hockey League games with Vancouver, Chicago and Boston.

The 13th-year pro last skated in the KHL in 2015-16, appearing in 35 games with Vladivostok Admiral and Jokerit Helsinki.
