Coyotes acquire Wedgewood from Devils

The Arizona Coyotes have acquired goaltender Scott Wedgewood from the New Jersey Devils in exchange for a fifth-round pick in the 2018 NHL Draft.

Wedgewood, 25, has appeared in one AHL game for the Binghamton Devils this season, making 36 saves in a 5-1 win at Laval on Oct. 14.

In 110 career AHL appearances, Wedgewood shows a record of 51-36-9 with a 2.35 goals-against average, a .908 save percentage and eight shutouts.

A third-round draft choice by New Jersey in 2010, Wedgewood has played four NHL games with the Devils, going 2-1-1 with a 1.25 GAA and a .957 save percentage.
