The Arizona Coyotes have claimed goaltender Eric Comrie off waivers from the Winnipeg Jets.

Comrie, 24, appeared in 183 regular-season games with the Jets’ AHL affiliates in Manitoba and St. John’s, posting a record of 77-83-20 with a 2.88 goals-against average, a .910 save percentage and eight shutouts.

An AHL All-Star in 2016, Comrie set career highs in victories (25) and save percentage (.917) last season.

Comrie was a second-round choice by Winnipeg in the 2013 NHL Draft and has appeared in five career NHL contests with the Jets, including one in 2018-19.
