Coyotes re-sign Domingue

The Arizona Coyotes, parent club of the AHL’s Springfield Falcons, have signed goaltender Louis Domingue to a one-year, two-way contract.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound Domingue played in seven games with the Coyotes last season and went 1-2-1 with a 2.73 goals-against average and a .911 save percentage. He also played in 20 games for Portland (AHL) and posted a record of 11-6-2 with a 2.68 GAA and a .908 save percentage. He was also 2-2 (2.37, .925) in five Calder Cup Playoff outings last spring.

The 23-year-old native of Mont St-Hilaire, Que., was originally drafted by the Coyotes in the fifth round (138th overall) in the 2010 Entry Draft. He has made 58 career AHL appearances, posting a record of 21-24-4 with a 3.24 GAA, an .898 save percentage and one shutout.
