Cracknell heads back to the Wolves

( – St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has acquired forward Adam Cracknell from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for future considerations.

Cracknell will report to the Blues’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Chicago Wolves.
Cracknell, 29, spent the first four years of his NHL career in St. Louis, dressing in 65 regular season games with the Blues from 2010 to 2014. This season, the 6-foot-2, 210-pound forward has appeared in 17 games with Columbus, registering one assist. He has also played in 18 games with Columbus’ AHL affiliate, Springfield Falcons, posting seven points (three goals, four assists).
The Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, native was originally drafted by Calgary in the ninth round, 279th overall, of the 2004 Entry Draft.
