The Syracuse Crunch have signed goaltender Adam Munro to an American Hockey League contract.
Munro, 24, has appeared in 70 career AHL games with the Norfolk Admirals going 36-22-4, while posting a 2.54 goals-against average, a .906 save percentage and four shutouts. His best AHL season came in 2004-05, when he was 14-10-2 with four shutouts for Norfolk.
Originally the Chicago Blackhawks’ first-round pick, 29th overall, in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, Munro has also appeared in 17 NHL games wiuth Chicago, going 3-5-2 with a 3.30 GAA and one shutout.
Munro spent the 2006-07 season in Switzerland.
