Flyers recall McGinn

The Philadelphia Flyers have recalled left wing Tye McGinn from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Adirondack Phantoms.

McGinn, 22, has appeared in 16 games for the Flyers this season, recording three goals and two assists for five points. He made his NHL debut on Jan. 22 at New Jersey and scored his first career NHL goal on Jan. 26 at Florida.

McGinn has appeared in 40 games for Adirondack this season. He has 14 goals and 12 assists for 26 points in the AHL this season, including 3-8-11 in seven games during March.

McGinn joined the Phantoms last season following the completion of his junior career with Gatineau in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. He was selected by the Flyers in the fourth round (119th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
