The Minnesota Wild, parent club of the AHL’s Iowa Wild, announced Wednesday that the club has received a conditional third-round selection in the 2017 or 2018 NHL Entry Draft from the Vegas Golden Knights in exchange for forward Alex Tuch.

Tuch, 21, recorded 18 goals and 19 assists for 37 points in 57 games with Iowa in 2016-17. The rookie forward represented the Wild at the 2017 AHL All-Star Classic.

Tuch also appeared in six games with Minnesota last season, making his NHL debut on Feb. 4 at Vancouver.

The Syracuse, N.Y., native was a first-round choice by Minnesota in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
