Nick Sorensen scored a pair of goals 31 seconds apart and Jhonas Enroth finished with 23 saves as San Diego defeated Ontario, 2-1, in Game 2 of the teams’ Pacific Division semifinal series on Saturday night.

With the series even at one game apiece, the Gulls will host Game 3 on Friday.

Sorensen, a second-round draft pick by Anaheim in 2013, scored on a power play 4:23 into the game, then doubled the Gulls’ lead at 4:54.

Mike Amadio got one back for the Reign early in the second period, but San Diego held on the rest of the way for the victory. Enroth (1-1) made nine of his 23 stops in the third period as Ontario pushed for the equalizer.

Jack Campbell (1-1) made 22 saves in the loss for the Reign.
