Iowa signs three to AHL pacts

The Iowa Wild have signed forwards Cody McLeod, Olivier Archambault and Kyle Bauman to American Hockey League contracts.

McLeod, 35, has played 776 regular-season games in the National Hockey League over the last 12 seasons with Colorado, Nashville and the New York Rangers, recording 72 goals and 55 assists for 127 points.

Before reaching the NHL, McLeod played 133 games in the AHL with the Lowell Lock Monsters, Albany River Rats and Lake Erie Monsters, notching 21 goals and 20 assists for 41 points.

Archambault, 26, recorded three assists in seven AHL games with the Syracuse Crunch during an injury-shortened 2018-19 season.

In 88 career AHL contests with Syracuse, San Jose, Iowa and Hamilton, Archambault has totaled 17 goals and 20 assists for 37 points. He had nine points in 30 games with the Wild during his first stint with the club.

Bauman, 26, played 67 games as a rookie with the AHL’s Ontario Reign last season, notching five goals and 13 assists for 18 points.

Bauman, who played four seasons at Bemidji State University, turned pro with the Reign at the end of the 2017-18 season and tallied one goal and one assist in six games.
