Jets agree to terms with Brouillette

The Winnipeg Jets, parent club of the AHL’s St. John’s IceCaps, announced they have agreed to terms with defenseman Julien Brouillette on a one-year, two-way contract.

Brouillette, 27, appeared in 51 AHL games with the Hershey Bears in 2013-14, earning 10 goals and 10 assists for 20 points. The native of St-Esprit, Que., made his NHL debut with Washington last season and notched one goal and one assist in 10 contests.

In 260 career AHL games with Hershey, Lake Erie, Charlotte, Hartford and Providence, Brouillette has totaled 22 goals and 48 assists for 70 points along with a plus-31 rating. He also has one goal and five assists in 15 career Calder Cup Playoff outings.
