Kennedy returns to Rampage

Florida Panthers Executive Vice President & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that left wing Tim Kennedy has been reassigned to the San Antonio Rampage (AHL).

In addition, the Rampage announced that they have released forward Jeff LoVecchio from his professional try-out (PTO).

Kennedy, 25, has played in 20 games with the Panthers this season recording one goal and averaging 10:34 of ice time. The Buffalo, N.Y. native has played in eight games with San Antonio this year, registering one goal with three assists and 10 PIM.

In his career in the National Hockey League, Kennedy has played in 105 games with Buffalo and Florida, scoring 11 goals with 17 assists and 54 PIM.

The 5-foot-10, 176-pound forward has appeared in 148 career AHL games posting 31 goals and 89 assists split between Portland, Hartford/Connecticut, Rochester and San Antonio. He was selected by Washington in the sixth round (181st overall) of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
