Larsen leads Wolves over Aeros

Brad Larsen‘s natural hat trick boosted Chicago to a 3-2 overtime win over Houston on Wednesday night at Allstate Arena.

The Aeros are now winless in their last 11 trips to Chicago.

The Wolves faced a 2-0 deficit heading into the third period, but Larsen scored at 4:43 and again at 9:59 to tie the score. He capped his second hat trick of the season with just 43 seconds left in overtime.

Larsen now has a five-game goal-scoring streak, finding the net seven times in that span. He leads the team with 18 goals on the season.

Steve Maltais and Greg Hawgood had two assists apiece for the Wolves, while Kari Lehtonen made 23 saves.

Pierre-Marc Bouchard had a goal and an assist and Josh Harding made 33 stops in the loss for the Aeros.
