Monarchs reign in Atlantic Division

The Manchester Monarchs clinched their second consecutive Atlantic Division championship on Monday night, guaranteeing themselves one of the top three seeds in the Eastern Conference when the Calder Cup Playoffs begin in two weeks.

The Monarchs sewed up first place in the division by virtue of Worcester’s 4-1 loss at Bridgeport, claiming the Emile Francis Trophy for the fourth time in franchise history (2005, 2007, 2014, 2015).
