Moose sign DeSalvo to AHL contract

The Manitoba Moose Hockey Club announced that the team has signed forward Dan DeSalvo to an American Hockey League contract.

DeSalvo, 24, has appeared in 11 games with the Moose this season while on a professional tryout. The 5’8”, 171 lbs. forward is second on the team in scoring with 14 points (7G, 7A). DeSalvo’s seven goals are tied for the team lead.

Last season, DeSalvo totaled 14 points (5G, 9A) in 17 games for the Moose. The Rolling Meadows, IL native played the bulk of 2015-16 with Manitoba’s ECHL affiliate, the Tulsa Oilers, where he posted 51 points (16G, 35A) in 55 games.
