Sheldon Dries scored with 13:36 gone in overtime to give Texas a 5-4 victory over Tucson in Game 3 of the Pacific Division Finals at H-E-B Center on Monday night.

Game 4 is Wednesday in Cedar Park with the Stars leading two games to one.

The Roadrunners coughed up the puck trying to come out from behind their own net and Dries capitalized on the turnover for his third goal of the postseason.

Texas salvaged the victory — its third OT win in seven games this postseason — after seeing a 4-2 third-period lead disappear.

Brian Flynn scored his league-leading sixth goal of the playoffs for the Stars, while Roope Hintz, Jason Dickinson and Gavin Bayreuther all scored their first postseason goal. Hintz (1g, 1a), Dickinson (1g, 1a), Flynn (1g, 1a) and Remi Elie (2a) all registered multiple-point games for Texas.

Dakota Mermis scored twice, Carter Camper tallied a goal and two assists and Lawson Crouse picked up three assists in Game 3 for the Roadrunners. Trevor Murphy added a goal and an assist and Conor Garland registered two helpers.

Mike McKenna (5-2) made 33 saves in the win for Texas, while Adin Hill (4-3) turned aside 27 shots in defeat.
