Morrison joins Wolves’ blue line

The Chicago Wolves announced Thursday that defenseman Kenney Morrison has signed with the club for the 2017-18 season.

The Lloydminster, Alberta, native comes to the Wolves after spending two seasons in the Calgary Flames organization. Last season with the AHL’s Stockton Heat, Morrison recorded four goals and eight assists for 12 points in 51 contests.

In 105 AHL games with Stockton and Adirondack, Morrison has totaled nine goals and 22 assists for 31 points.

Morrison, 25, joined the Flames after three seasons at Western Michigan University, where he collected 54 points in 115 games.
