Justin Hodgman and Josh Engel tallied shootout goals, and Toronto goaltender Joey MacDonald stopped four of Abbotsford’s five attempts as the Marlies pulled out a 3-2 win over the Heat on Monday at the Entertainment & Sports Centre.

Mancari earns Player of the Week nod

The AHL announced today that Portland Pirates right wing Mark Mancari has been named the Reebok/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending Feb. 7, 2010. Mancari notched seven points and a plus-7 rating in three games last week.

Graham Mink scored twice and fellow 2010 AHL All-Star Alexander Salak made an AHL season-high 53 saves in Rochester's 5-4 road win over Binghamton on Saturday night. It marked the first multiple-goal game of the season for Mink.

AHL announces suspension
