Norfolk’s Winchester to OKC for future considerations

The Norfolk Admirals have announced that they have traded forward Brad Winchester to the Oklahoma City Barons for future considerations.

Winchester, 34, has been out most of the 2014-15 season with an injury, and has not played since January 17. In his 15 games this year for the Admirals, Winchester amassed nine points on four goals and five assists, along with 39 penalty minutes. The 6-foot-5, 230-pound left winger is an NHL veteran, totaling 68 points (37 goals, 31 assists) in 390 games with Edmonton, Dallas, St. Louis, Anaheim and San Jose. Winchester did not play with the Ducks this season, but contributed two points in 19 games for them in 2010-11.
