Oilers acquire Reinhart from Islanders

The Edmonton Oilers, parent club of the AHL’s Bakersfield Condors, acquired defenseman Griffin Reinhart from the New York Islanders in exchange for the 16th and 33rd overall picks in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.

Reinhart spent most of his rookie 2014-15 season with the AHL’s Bridgeport Sound Tigers, recording seven goals and 15 assists for 22 points in 59 regular-season games. He also notched one assist in eight NHL games with the Islanders.

Reinhart, 21, was selected fourth overall in the 2012 NHL Entry by the Islanders.
