MILWAUKEE 4, GRAND RAPIDS 2

Rich Peverley notched a pair of goals to lead Milwaukee to a 4-2 victory over visiting Grand Rapids on Thursday at the Bradley Center.

Peverley tallied his 12th and 13th AHL goals of the season and now has 14 points (4-10-14) in eight games since returning from an NHL stint with Nashville. His marker at 4:44 of the second period was the game-winner.

Matt Ellison and Kelsey Williams also scored for the Admirals, and seven different players picked up an assist apiece in the victory.

Milwaukee goaltender Pekka Rinne, a two-time AHL All-Star, made 29 saves between the pipes to earn the victory.

Darren Helm and Kyle Quincey notched goals for the Griffins, who saw their three-game winning streak come to an end.

With the victory, Milwaukee moved two points up on Houston for fifth place and a potential playoff spot in the West Division. The Admirals are just one point back of Peoria for fourth.
