Picard returns to Wilkes-Barre

The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned defenseman Alexandre Picard to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero.

Picard, 26, has played in six games this season for Pittsburgh, going scoreless with a plus-5 rating while averaging 12:32 minutes per contest.

In nine games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Picard has recorded three assists and a plus-7 rating.
