Pock propels Pack past Springfield

Thomas Pock scored one goal and assisted on three others as Hartford doubled up Springfield, 6-3, at the Hartford Civic Center on Wednesday night.

For Pock, who is slated to participate in next week’s 2006 Rbk Hockey AHL All-Star Classic, it was his third four-point game of the season. The product of the University of Massachusetts is tied for fourth in the AHL among defensemen with 34 points this year.

Hartford grabbed an early lead on a goal by Nigel Dawes 2:07 into the game. The rookie forward added two assists on the night, and leads the Wolf Pack with 21 goals and 38 points on the season.

Hugh Jessiman (his second), Chad Wiseman (9), Colby Genoway (16) and Alexandre Giroux (19) also scored for Hartford.

Dennis Packard led the Falcons with a goal and an assist on the evening.
