Puljujarvi assigned to Condors

The Edmonton Oilers, parent club of the AHL’s Bakersfield Condors, have assigned right wing Jesse Puljujarvi to Bakersfield.

The Oilers also recalled right wing Anton Slepyshev.

Puljujarvi, 18, was selected fourth overall in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft by Edmonton. He recorded one goal and seven assists in 28 games with the Oilers this season.

Last year, Puljujarvi recorded 28 points in 50 games for Karpat in the Finnish league, and was also selected the MVP of the 2016 World Junior Championships after helping Finland to a gold medal.

Slepyshev has recorded three goals and seven assists for 10 points in nine games with Condors in 2016-17. He also has two goals and two assists in 15 games with the Oilers this seaosn.
