The New York Rangers, parent club of the AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack, have agreed to terms with free-agent forward Chris Bourque.

Bourque, 28, split this past season between Ak Bars Kazan of the Kontinental Hockey League and EHC Biel of National League A in Switzerland, totaling eight goals and seven assists in 32 games.

Bourque has scored 142 goals and added 291 assists for 433 points in 437 career AHL games with Providence, Hershey and Portland. He won the AHL scoring title with 93 points and was named a First Team AHL All-Star in 2011-12 and is a three-time Calder Cup champion with Hershey (2006, 2009, 2010), earning playoff MVP honors in 2010.

In 51 career NHL games with Washington, Pittsburgh and Boston, the 5-foot-8, 180-pound forward has registered two goals and six assists for eight points.

The Boston, Mass., native -- son of Hockey Hall of Famer Ray Bourque -- was originally selected by Washington in the second round, 33rd overall, of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. Bourque's brother Ryan has played for Hartford the last three seasons.
